KBL began life in September 2009 with its own collection of sunglasses and was founded by Adam and Kara Mendelsohn, together with Dave Barton. In 2011, Ralph Albrecht invested in KBL; since then, he has been givingKBL the benefit of his sales experience and providing impetus for design and product development.
